Student Ticket Prices Now $10!
Georgia Tech students will find great shows right here on campus almost every weekend. From comedy to jazz to classical music, there’s something to suit everyone at the Ferst Center for the Arts.
How to Purchase Student Tickets
Georgia Tech student tickets go on sale Thursday, August 23 at the Ferst Center Open House starting at 10 a.m. On that day you can get your tickets, have refreshments, view the exhibit in the Galleries, enter a drawing for free CDs, and browse through a selection of free performance posters. After that date you may purchase Student Tickets for ANY show at ANY time in the Student Center Box Office on the second floor. Get your tickets early, as Student Tickets will not be available once a show sells out.
$10 Student Tickets
Thanks to support from The Coca-Cola Company, students can purchase up to 2 tickets at the price of $10 per show in the Ferst Center’s series. (This price does not apply to shows by student groups, campus departments, or off-campus organizations.)
A current Buzzcard for ID is required for purchase. A non-student guest holding a Student Ticket must be acompanied by a Tech student.
The $10 Student Ticket is an amazing discount when you look at the price of tickets for the general public. Call the Box Office at 404-894-9600 for more information.
15% Student Discount Any Time
If you buy your two $10 Student Tickets for a performance but still want to buy more tickets, you can always purchase more tickets at a 15% discount off the regular price.
And Then There’s Ushering
If you don’t mind doing a little work, you can see shows for free as a Ferst Center usher! Sign up on the website or call for details at 404-894-2787.
Check Out the Galleries
The Ferst Center has two gallery spaces. The Richards Gallery and The Westbrook Gallery feature art exhibits throughout the year. Here you’ll see a wide variety of professional and student artwork, open before and during the performances.
Student Groups Can Use the Ferst Center Too
Many student organizations produce events at the Ferst Center during the year. If your group is interested in doing this, check out Facilities Rental. Under certain circumstances, SGA funds will cover the rental cost.

The Ferst Center serves as “home” for several Atlanta performing arts groups that perform all or most of their shows here. You can see shows by the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Ballethnic Dance Company, the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus. Tech students receive discounts to these shows as well!
How to Find Us
The Ferst Center is located near the Student Center and the Student Services Building. The administrative offices are on the second floor of the Student Services Building.
