2009-2010 Season Announcement

The 2009-2010 Season of performances is now on sale and features Ferst Center favorites with Atlanta premieres.  Season highlights include Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, comic stars from "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," guitarist Pat Metheny, The Peking Acrobats, the Atlanta premiere performance of "The Pirates of Penzance" performed by New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, and the Monterey Jazz Festival Tour featuring The Kenny Barron Trio, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling, and Russell Malone.

Special 2009-2010 five-show ticket packages - at a 20 percent discount off individual tickets - are now on sale and may be ordered from the Ferst Center Box Office at 404-894-9600 or click here to download the Season Order form.

George Thompson Named New Director

George Thompson, DirectorGeorge Thompson, an arts management executive with over 20 years of senior management experience as both a presenter and producer at nationally recognized arts organizations, has been named director of the Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech.  He is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, coordination and fundraising for the center, and selects the programming for the Ferst Center's season of performances.
